What do the Capitals do Next?

Now that the Caps have traded away Eric Fehr to reduce from the salary cap when will they sign young Defender Karl Alzner who had a break out year last year. Questions still remain before opening training camp. Does Tom Poti retire? Will the Caps trade either Mike Green or Alexander Semin? If Poti goes on LTIR that will solve some of the problems. I heard today Green going to Edmonton for Gagner and a young d-man. I could see Semin going to Calgary. Trading either star would really free up the salary for the Caps to sign Alzner. Or do the Caps think Orlov will be ready for the Season. I attended the first day of rookie camp on Monday and Orlov did look good even throwing a big shoulder check. Orlov could be the answer for the future but Alzner did prove himself last year and I think he should get the shot. The easy way out is for Poti to go on LTIR or retire. Either way I think the Caps are ready to finally make that deep run in the playoffs.
