Vancouver Canucks

So lets start by saying Hello, to my fellow bloggers.
This is my First Blog ever, so bare with me. Unfortunately for all you Vancouver Canucks haters, i am not one. I have been a fan for as long as i can possibly remember. Lets get down to business.
There is a lifetime of Luongo things that can and will be written, along with cody Hodgson, the twins production and all that jazz. But today after the Canucks defeated the Minnesota Wild 3 2 in Overtime, it wasn't the game making headlines. It was after when Mike Gillis announced a 4 player trade involving yet again the Florida Panthers.
The Canucks have acquired David Booth, Steven Reinprecht along with a 3rd rounder for Mikael Samuelsson and Marco Sturm.
Lets just start by saying, what the hell is Florida doing. But kudos to the Vancouver Canucks organization for going out and getting that top 6 forward to finally play alongside Ryan Kesler. Booth is a big body, who can skate, best of all, he can finish. Concussions have pestered him but it most definitely seems to be behind him. Booth is someone who appears to need a change of scenery. Booth will benefit tremendously by playing alongside Kesler and it re affirms to the rest of the NHL, that the Canucks are absolutely Stanley Cup favorites.
The depth this team has is tremendous. With Mason Raymond slowly getting closer to a return, along with the slow and steady development of Cody Hodgson, the canucks have the perfect mix of a championship caliber team. But of course the stars have to align for the potential success that could follow. Canuck fans are at there best when there female doging and complaining about something, but for the few to actually read this, I ask as a fan and now blogger, to show Patience, give these guys time to gel. The potential is there.
