Waivers best route for Sens? Or back to the well in COL?

Ottawa seems to be slightly ahead in their own "3 year" plan, so does it make sense for Bryan Murray to start making deals? Quick answer, No.
Murray was on Ottawa radio this week (before the Anderson injury) and said that in a perfect world he would like to add a depth defencemen and a forward. Things have obviously changed since that radio appearance, and Murray needs to look at goaltending depth before all else. Bruce Garrioch indicated that Tampa reached out to Ottawa to gauge their interest in Roloson. Given the insane prices on the trade market so far this season, it's unlikely Ottawa can afford that move. If they are lucky, they might be able to snag Conklin on re-entry waivers if Detroit is feeling generous.
I've read the postings from Sens fans suggesting Niittymaki, but that's a horrible idea! Niitty has allowed 27 goals in only 9 games in the AHL. Maybe Ottawa should consider going back to the goalie well in Colorado for a second consecutive year? Cederic Desjardins is having a decent season in Lake Erie, he's 9-6 with a 2.18 GAA. He's the type of guy that can handle the starting role in Binghamton while Lehner is with the Sens, and if anything happened to Lehner or Auld, he would be a capable back-up with the big club. He could probably be had for a mid-level guy off the Binghamton roster.
