After riding on a six game losing band, Detroit finished off tonight's game against Columbus Blue Jackets with a 7-2 game winning final, completing a two-game winning streak after playing the Hurricanes Saturday night.
While Columbus focuses on their next game against the Wings in their hometown, Detroit has already set their direct attention to the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
After being booted from stanley cup finals, due to past injuries throughout the years, the red wings have been on a constant struggle to bring the cup home since the 2007-2008 season. Yet, they haven't given up.
