An Apology and a Flames Rumour

First I would like to apologize for not following up on my last blog sooner to the many who were waiting with baited breath...mom. But I have been back in CGY and got caught up helping in-law flood victims. I will get to it as soon as possible.
But since this is a rumour board and I heard a rumour I thought I would pass it on. As anyone who reads my blogs knows I don't post rumours because I don't have any connections or imagination. But I heard one after the draft and I think it is from a reliable source.
The rumour is that the Flames are still in negotions with the Bruins making offers for Seguin, and might be close to a deal. Rumoured to be Johnny Gaudreau, Mikael Backlund, and a second round pick next year, other pieces from both teams are in discussions.
Take it for what you will, and please don't torch me if it doesn't happen.

It would be tough to trade trade Johnny Hockey and Backs but if get Seguin... I think you almost have to make that deal if you are Feaster.
I think Boston wants more!
Seguin is what Calg should be going for. Gaudreau is talented and all. but also smallish in size. You def give a talent like that up for Seguin if its on the table. I think id try and add more pieces and keep Backlund. As Boston isnt weak down the middle.
