Guerin and Comrie on Long Island and other things

A new splash of life for the New York Islanders after losing Blake and Smyth. Bill Guerin has for most of his career been a near 30 goal to 30+ goal scorer and had an incredible season last year racking up 36 goals at the age of 36 (shall he make it 37 at 37). To this team he brings a pretty good offensive punch and some ver much needed dedication as a captain after having the captain's slot virtually empty with Yashin. To add to the acquiring of Guerin, Mike Comrieis and you can argue this all you want but he was the next best thing on that Senators team after Heatley, Spezza and Alfredson. IMO, these two new Islanders should give the first line of the Islanders a pretty good punch along with Miro Satan who last year scored 28 goals. As for other things, it seems as if Garth SNow and Ted Nolan have been in more recent days signing more depth players such as Joey MacDonald and just yesterday Aaron Johnson in moves to ensure the Islanders future is in good hands. Still need one more d-man, perhaps Markov or Kubina would be nice. BTW, is Sheldon Souray really worth what Edmonton payed him, defensively he is not that good and all he has mostly is his flamethrower from the point.
