Catching Some Sun in Cali

A very gutsy performance last night by the Winnipeg Jets. After a dismal performance on Thursday night in Arizona, it was great to see the team battle to two points in Las Angeles. When they went up 3-0 quick in the first on goals by Perreault, Little, and Wheeler, I was skeptical because the Kings have numerous amounts of fire power to get them right back in the game. 2 powerplays was prime example of that. After the early goal by Gaborik of the Kings in the 3rd, in my mind I thought we were defeated. A few big saves by Hutch kept the life alive, followed up with an astonishing performance in the shootout.

Huge game tonight to keep up with the tight playoff race in the Western Conference. The Jets will need to come out fast, like last night and pop a couple goals early to gain some confidence.
