Since the All-star break the Winnipeg Jets have not been playing the same style of hockey that made them successful prior to the break. Everyone was devastated when the teams top 4 defenseman were sidelined with injury and many fans started cheering for the McDavid sweepstakes. However, Chevy worked the lines and made an exceptional trade acquiring Harrison for a 6th round pick! Since having the regular defenseman back the Jets have struggled giving up 5 goals in each of their last 4 games. Thus brining much concern around the team. rnPersonally, I feel it's because the team got away from what made them so successful. They started taking penalties, not having a strong forecheck, and trying to force the puck into areas instead of making the safe play. Personally (yes, I'm going to use my NHL15 GM knowledge on this statement), I would want to get Harrison back in the lineup sooner than later! In the Western Conference you need to have the big bodies that will not shy away to crash and bang. As much as I love how smart Enstrom is with the puck, he just is not physically strong enough to compete in the conference. He was able to strive within a much less physical (for the most part) conference. I would attempt to unload him while he still has good value and potential for a solid return. Especially when this year's draft is as deep as it is. The Jets like to "build through the draft" then why not utilize this as an asset to do so. rnA huge test tonight with the back to back. Fortunate for the Jets, the Canucks are struggling as well, and starting Eddie Lack their backup goalie. The Jets need to have a strong first few shifts to set the tone of the game and not let up. rnrnI am certain and have faith Maurice and the boys will turn things around!
Happiness is fleecing the Sabres!
