Craig Adams and the Penguins

I still am unsure why Adams continues to get playing time on this current Penguins team. Honeslty, I beleive all he is, is a puck pusher. His speed has declined and whatever is left of his skill set.
What I don't understand is why scratch Downie and not Adams. Most people would have thought after the Bylsma/Shero era that the Adams project would come to an end. Don't get me wrong Adams early in his Penguin's career was very effective. However, there is a time when you need to cut ties and move on.
I would much rather play Sill over Adams. Sill is pretty much a younger Adams. He has better speed, young and more talent. Time will only tell how much longer the Adams Family will be in Pittsburgh.
