First off I would like to say that I am a diehard Leafs so my opinion is biased and optimistic, so take it with a grain of salt.
Josh Leivo is probably my favourite Marlie I have seen up with the big club all year. I actually was quite impressed when we called him up a few years ago for a hand full of games. The first thing I noticed actually wasn't his heavy shot but his play in the corners and on the boards. At about 6'1" 200 lbs he uses his size quite well on the boards, nothing like Jamie Benn or Jagr, but good enough to be a legit power forward. Now his shot, again I noticed his HEAVY shot in his first call up but he just couldn't hit the net. But it seems like he has figured it out based on his numbers with the Marlies (38pts in 38GP) and now a goal in each of his last 3 games with the Leafs. And his goals against Calgary and Edmonton were "goal scorer" goals. check em out

All in all Leivo is not a great skater or have great hands, he also needs to work on his defense. But based on what I have seen he can score on the rush, battle hard on the boards and has a big enough build to cause havoc in front of the net.
Projection: 2nd line or 3rd line winger
I like him to but I see him no higher then third line when they are ready to be contenders
aka 2037?
MyHockeyBuzz is full of shitty Leafs blogs....what gives?
Good third lines win Stanley Cups. I think you have to develop your own. I like him.
