There's speculation that Los Angeles Kings head coach Darryl Sutter is headed to Calgary to coach the Flames.
Of course, he has to be released by the Kings.
However, the prospect of Sutter going to his home province (Alberta) is real.
Despite winning two Stanley Cups during Sutter's tenure with the Kings, the past two season hasn't been happy times for L.A.
The team missed the postseason last year and were eliminated in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs two weeks ago.
King's general manager, Dean Lombardi is in the process of hammering out a deal with Sutter, but is aware of the poor performance the team has shown the past two seasons.
I feel that Sutter probably be with Calgary or some other team if things in L.A. don't work out.
