for gerz et all,
there are two sites on the internet from which you can steam sports from around the world, and i have found them to be streaming quite well (minimal to no lagging or buffering) this season. In terms of the Senators, for games that our usual channels are not broadcasting, you will be able to watch the feed from the opponents home tv station.
here are the websites (mostly the same content):
http://livetv.ru/en/
http://www.myp2p.eu
you will first need to download a program called sopcast (free) and then you should be able to figure it out once you find the game you want on one of the two sites. i have a decent connection but nothing amazing and i have found the last few games i watched pretty high quality and extremely watchable as internet streams go. i use an s-video cable connected to my laptop to watch them on my tv.
i think its retarded that you pay that much for centre ice and cant watch all your home clubs games, which is probably why you bought it in the first place unless your daniel tolensky.
anyways, enjoy the hockey on the net. they have premier league soccer and lots of other sports too. cheers.
I use myp2p quite abit and it works well, they've had most Hawks games
wow, this is an amazing discovery. thank you.Go Sabres!!!
Thanks Whittington. I really appreciate it. The second link I found worked best for me. I found a stream with terriffic quality. I am really impressed. Plus nice to get a different perspective with the announcers you dont normally have to listen to. I am watching the Ottawa game in Florida, and the quality is great. Thanks again
Great tip! Thanks!
I hate sopcast. Another good one is justin.tv -- they also usually post links in the gamebox chat to other streams. Another nice one to check out if you don't want to install and use sopcast and VLC.
Thanks for the tip PFK
