Claude Lemieux playing in China?

Sorry if someone wrote about this already i just learned about it today.
We all knew Claude Lemieux wanted to comeback and play pro hockey again. I didn't think he could play in the NHL again, he is just too old and hasn't played in the NHL in so long. Now i read he is playing hockey for the sharks now. Maybe not the sharks most players would want to play for since it's in China. First i had no idea there was a big hockey League in Asia so this surprised me. I would of thought that if he wasn't playing in North America he would play in Europe surely some team would take him there.
