EAST:
BOS over MON in 5 (Price has a playoff meltdown while BOS defence flourish)
NYR over WAS in 7 (a hard-faught battle with Lundqvist besting Theodore)
PHI over PIT in 6 (Philly's toughness gets the best of Crosby & Fleury)
NJD over CAR in 6 (Brodeur is back to post-season form, but CAR puts in four solid one-goal games)
WEST:
SJ over ANA in 6 (Nabokov bests Giguere, SJ defence best Ana's, although Thornton is invisible for the first few games)
DET over CLB in 5 (Mason can't hold back DET's offence in playoff debut)
CAL over CHI in 7 (Even though Khabibulin has Calgary's number, secondary scoring win it for CAL in a tough 7-game duel)
VAN over StL in 5 (Luongo gets 2 shutouts and single-handedly wins the series despite a stale VAN offence)

i disagree on the following: hawks over your flames, canes over devils, pens over flyers and i have heavy doubts about the wings. i cant quite bring myself to say they lose but i wont be surprised if they do and i will be very surprised if you are right and it only goes 5
If the Flames beat the Hawks.. it wont be a about secondary scoring! Hawks have much better secondary scoring.. they also have the highest scoring 4th line in the league. If the Flames win, it's going to be about toughness, grit and lack of experience in critical situations.. I do think the Hawks will take it, but I wont be suprised if they dont.Should be a great series
