Tonight at approximately 7:17 Eastern time, the Coliseum erupted. That was because Islanders GM Garth Snow announced to the world that the Islanders were selecting John Tavares first overall in the 2009 NHL Draft. The 10,000 people at the Coliseum shook the Coliseum like it hasnt been shaken in years. However, that was just the first step.
Now its time to get John to the Coliseum. Where he can tell the 10,000 people there that the Islanders made the right choice. Where he can tell the 10,000 people there that he will help the Islanders return to glory.
