Next Maple Leaf to leave T.O.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been active in the free agency period to say the least. Signing Komisarek, Beauchemin, Orr, Gustavsson, Wallin, and Kadri. Trading Kubina and Stapleton for Exelby and Stuart. And of course the makeover of certain staff led by arguably the best goalie coach in Francois Allaire. However do not think for one second that Burke is done. Not even close! Just before he went on his fishing trip, he sent offers to SIX free agents! Among those include Manny Maholtra. Trade talk/rumors continue to surface around Tomas Kaberle and interesting names have emerged in return. First Kessel now Sharp with many in between. Some more realistic, some not. But what Burke hasnt done yet is acquired a true bona fida goal scorer. And you better believe he will get one. More likely sooner than later. But who should the leafs part with in exchange for that forward? Or do they sign Tanguay and trade for the future in picks and prospects? Or another forward? Should they say their goodbyes to Kabby? White? VanRyn? Finger? Exelby?? Or should they trade others with less value? Ponikarovski? Stajan? Stempniak? They have a great looking depth chart led by Tlusty, Bozak, Hanson, and Stalberg. Could any of these be added in packages to make that one deal possible? To obtain the forward of the future. Somethings gonna happen and soon! The leafs have 10 nhl defensemen! Only Schenn is untradable. Although i believe Stralman will be staying. And new aquisitions in Komisarek and Beauchemin. Almost any forwards could be moved with the exeption of Grabovski. Brian Burke has made it public he is mulling over a offer for one of their defensemen not named Kaberle. And he has also said he is FAR FROM DONE! He is back from his fishhng trip so its back to business for BB and expect something to happen in the next couple of weeks! Leafs fans havent been this excited for decades! Were in for some real excitement and its ABOUT TIME!!
