All through the signings during the off season, Brian Burke has said he will still be working on getting a top six forward. It's great to see all the defensive signings of Komisarek, Beauchemin, and Exelby but there is little cap space left and a big gap to fill. Stepniak was a dissapointment, Blake had a great year and Kulemin and Grabovski had great breakout seasons last year. I believe Burke needs to go outside of his comfort zone to sign Afinegenov, Zherdev, or Sykora. What do you guys think?
Of the 3 you mentionted Zherdev is the youngest with the most upside. I just hope we don't get a Bertuzzi who will inevitably steal ice time from the youngsters and is over the hill.
