Glimer of Hope Not Enough

Although many are gaining new hope from the recent performance of the young maple leafs I for one do not believe that this hockey club can be a top team in the NHL unless they are smart with the players they have. For one thing many leafs fans are have still not gotten over the Kessel trade although taylor hall or tyler seguin would have been a great addition to the team I would rather have a proven 30 goals or more scorer than take my chances with a draft pick who has not yet to step on NHL ice. Many have not realized the potential of Phil Kessel because he does not even have a top center to pass him the puck. Another point is that many are forgetting that we still have Kaberle and even Giguere if there was a good enough offer on the table I think Giggy can go to a cup contending team for the right price say a prospect. Also in my opinion if kaberle does not get traded at Draft day then it is possible he signs an extension. The glimer of hope the young team is showing is not enough for me being a leafs fan I would like to see the leafs trade kaberle getting us our top 6 center and giving the Young Luke Schenn a chance to show if he was really worth a 5th overall pick. GO LEAFS GO!
