WCF Game 3 End of First Period

This will be my live blog while watching the game.
First Period:
1:04 - Detroit looks hungry. You know a team is outplaying their opponents when they start getting powerplays, and we are seeing that now. Pronger was just lazy on that last call.
:42 - What a shot by Holmstrom. I disagree with the commentator in this case though. He said that the Anaheim defensemen should have played the puck, but really you just pick one man and stay on him. If nothing else, let the goalie get a look at the shot. That was just one sick shot.
End Of First: The score reflects the effectiveness of the teams after 1. The Ducks looked brutal on the powerplay, and Detroit made their chances count.
