Well folks, it finally has arrived! The playoffs are here and I couldn't be more excited. A great slate of games tonight with what will probably be one of the most exciting series being Ottawa V. Pittsburgh. So much speed and talent on the ice between both teams and two young upcoming goaltenders. Ray Emery has a lot to make up for from last year's run when he laid a few eggs against the Sabres. Fluery has great reactions but tends to let rebounds get away from him from time to time, though this has resulted in him making some unbelievable saves during the regular season. Will Ottawa finally break through their playoff curse?
Anyway, onto the series I will be watching most religiously and that is the Sabres v. Islanders. For some reason I am scared of the Islanders, mainly because the way they played to finish off the season. I am not sure they can hang with the Sabres for the whole 7 games just because of the Sabres scoring depth but I think this will be a hotly contested series and much of it depends on whoever is in the nets for the Isles.
Go Sabres!
