Whats near and far..

The Penguins have no chance of making the playoffs this year. Next year is a longshot also. They have to much cash tied up to too few players. 3 centers and a Goalie at 22.4 million. Then Goligoski and Kunitz combined cap hit of 5.6 million which isnt bad, but both must produce more this upcoming season.
Not many people like to hear it or even think about it, but somebody has to go. Whether its Staal, Malkin or Fleury. Fleury hasnt had the best couple seasons. (Dont start on the "oh we wouldnt have won the cup without Fleury" BS because yeah we would have.) A goalie is easy to come by these days, and they come alot cheaper then 5 million a year. I cant see paying a guy 5 million a year to stop 15 pucks per game. Fleury was off his game this year big time. Gave up too many goals in the first 2 minutes. Want to clear some cap room? This is how you do it. Trade Staal, Fleury and Goligoski for Draft Picks and Prospects or even a Winger who's contract is cap friendly. Use those Draft Picks and Prospects to trade for Role players.
I got a legit way to improve the team with a little tweaking. Although to some of you, it might make you use 4 boxes of kleenex from losing your cute and favorite players. But hey, if I lost mine (Jagr, Kovalev, Naslund, Lang, Francis, Barasso and ect) You have to lose yours too. Like I said, trade Staal, Fleury, Talbot, Kennedy and Goligoski for Draft Picks and Prospects. Then use Free Agency to fill in the holes we have. Shero could do the Math right and make it work. I know I did. And it looks like this.

with 2 way contracts is a huge plus.
