The Chicago Blackhawks are the top-ranked team but GM Stan Bowman is prepared for trade talks anytime now as the trade deadline is soon coming up. Some concern that Bowman has is his secondary scoring.

The Hawks have great players to begin with and they are showing the numbers. Patrick Kane, Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa always put a good game on and than you have your centerman and captian Jonathan Towes but Hawks feel a need for a good second-line center.

The Hawks have considered putting Dave Bolland into that role but he was shown that he is best for the third line man.

Bowman could be making calls to the Blue Jackets, Ducks, Hurricanes and the Devils. Bowman's cap space is $5.5 million to boost up his lineup, and its reported that he will also try to do so by getting draft picks. The Hawks are already Stanley Cup champs and would like to boost up there team to get back in that run.
