It seems strange to me every time I read a Sabre's blog that in true Buffalo fashion, no one is able to just stay on an even keel. For the last 2 years, most of the Buffalo fans on this site, have done nothing but trash other teams and build the buffalo Sabres into The recreation of the Stanley cup winning Edmonton teams from the past. Including Drury in the part o Messier and Briere playing Wayne Gretzky. Now, 16 games into the season, the vast majority of you have decided that not only are we doomed, but we may very well not even make the playoffs. You are sure that no player that is here wants to be here, and that no player from any other team would ever want to come here. That no player on our roster has any shot of a bright nhl career, and we should trade them all NOW!
Neither the belief that we were ever the best, or the belief that the team should just quit now are rational.

I'm not saying that we are a cup contender, but I do know that we have a team that whether you believe it or not really is trying to win.
I'm happy that I get to see hockey played and that I can teach my daughter about the best sport in the world.
Don't let fans from other teams be correct when they say that Buffalo fans are just a bunch of wagon jumpers.

I'm still on the wagon, even if the hitch is broke, the shotgun is jammed, and the marmalade is moldy!
