When you live in a town where football Is a religion and every Friday there are more people at a high school football game then a home Blackhawks game it’s hard to find anyone to talk hockey with… The Dallas Stars are an option but them being 8 hours away and the price of tickets and the coast of gas make them look less likely of an option.. Being born and raised in Michigan growing up following the Wings and all the media attention they get can spoil any true hockey fan.. Having a father that works in the Automotive business and with cheaper labor in Mexico means that we would move to the sunny desert.. Being able to catch every hockey game on Center Ice is a great thing.. But there is still that void in your life that you can’t talk hockey with anyone.. Then I came across Hockeybuzz.com got the season ticket after a few weeks, got into the chat room and started talking with some hockey fans people that really know the game…It’s funny when people ask what your favorite sport is it’s a hard question for me played 4 years of high school golf love the fact that it challenges you mentally and physically.. In a way the things that hockey has to offer. Now that the playoffs are under way and watching all the games and the emotion that the player show.. Makes you wonder how the casual fan cannot get into this game.. It almost seems as though the players take their game to the next level everyone is giving 110% and flying around the ice faster than they were in the regular season bigger and hard hits, goalies moving like if they were in Yoga class making key saves at key times in a game.. In my eyes there is not grater thing out there then the NHL Playoffs...

At least you have an excuse to not be surrounded by hockey fans. You live in Texas nowhere near hockey. I live in an Original 6 city and can't find very many hockey fans.I can't understand why more people aren't addicted to hockey. Maybe they just don't understand how incredibly hard it is to play the game.
