After getting my daily dose of hockeybuzz.com I go on the official Flyers home page to check up on news in flyerdom and I stumble on this.

Apparently to open up camp the flyers are running a round robin torny putting all the vets, and prospects on 4 different teams to foster team play.

Here is the team break down:

After looking at the teams my money is on team Allen because I think they have some good scoring and an alright defense.

What do you guys think?

I don't know if Team Allen will win or not but they should at least be able to beat the crap out of the other teams. I'll go with Team Barber. They have Timmonen, Smith and Biron along with enough back end scoring to make the second and third lines dangerous.

the 2nd line of Boyd Kane, Jim Dowd and Steve Downie looks like it will be a pretty nasty line to play against....tho I dont know how much hitting there is going to be in this

From the eyes of an outsider I see one of the two first teams winning it.

Hard not to like Snider if Bartulis and Guenin step up and with Boucher fighting for his old job.

I agree Team Allen looks like the team to beat. but its hard to say since the players with the most to gain/loss/prove are the less know players fighting to make the roster some day. I'd say the coaches did a pretty good job seperating the teams and I wish I could be there to see them fight it out. Hopefully no body gets hurt!

Yea thats the last thing we need is someone getting hurt. The match up im really interested in is seeing team snider and team allen go at it, it will be the time we will see if the richards 3rd line is going to be able to be the shut down line and what better a test then the briere line.

i like team barber. they go the goaltending and the forward depth on all lines as well as the new top d pairing.
