I was very impressed and excited for the Blues beating a tough Buffalo team on the road. They have played well at home but they were under .500 on the road and this was a big road win and a comeback win at that.

Being down 2-0, the Blues could have packed it in, but this team has such confidence and fight in them that they rallied with three goals of their own before Buffalo tied it back up.

What a huge goal by Brad Boyes with 58 seconds left in the game to win it for the Blues and give them their seventh win in the last eight games.

I really like the way the Blues are playing right now and they sit in fourth in the West behind all of the division leaders with 28 points, and you might have noticed that the Blues have played at least 2 less games than any of the other teams in the league, except for the Islanders.

Specifically, I like that the veterans are leading this team on the stat sheet, which is how it should be. The veterans, and leaders should lead by example, Keith Tkachuk had 2 assists, Paul Kariya, Brad Boyes and Mike Johnson a goal and an assist each, Martin Rucinsky a goal. These guys are the key to get some of the younger players, like Lee Stempniak back scoring goals like we all hope he will get back to doing.

This past week, the Blues beat Roberto Luongo, one of the best goalies currently in the league, beat the Flames, whom they had lost seven straight games to, beat the Red Wings on Nov. 13 after being down 2-0 in that game then scoring four straight goals. They beat a hot Nashville team on back-to-back nights and Columbus as well.

Next up is another tough road game at Minnesota on Friday night, where the Blues beat the Wild on Nov 1st for a huge road win as well.

The month of December will be a real test for the Blues, they play Detroit three times, Dallas, Colorado, Calgary again, and they get another crack at the Blackhawks this Saturday, a team that has been a real pest for the Blues to beat this season.

As if he needed any more praise for the job he is doing, I have to give major props to Andy Murray for the way he has the Blues playing, it's really great to see the team play well, compete every night and have a chance to win every night out.

The funny thing is, earlier today, I was watching the video on the Blues website of that come from behind victory against Toronto a few years back. And then, of course, the Blues pull out a comeback victory (albeit slightly less amazing than being down 5-0, but impressive nonetheless.)The best part is that Oshie and all these other prospects aren't even up here yet and the Blues are playing like absolute beasts.

Especially good work last night from Tkachuk, Rucinsky and Mike Johnson. That was the best top to bottom team effort I can recall this season from the Blues. Even down 2-0 they were winning every battle.

Looks like PK is paying off for you guys as well! I must admit I was kind of happy when I looked at the NHL scoreboard on my phone last night and say the Sabres had you down 2-0...great comeback. These Blues are much better than people give credit for. I love the Central this year!!!

predjoe your right the central division is an awesome one this year. i'm no expert on the western conference, but it seems very comparable to northwest division of the last couple of years. i was at the game last night and i got to say the blues are monsters compared to the sabres. the blues completely wore us down last night; resembling a team that could make some noise come playoff time. one player that stood out to me last night was eric brewer (ultimately because of his size) who had a solid game. i thought, even though inspired probably, mckee looked really good too jumping up in the play and blocking shots. i think the blues are a real easy team to root for come playoff time (IMO).
