Yes, the Devils may have lost Scotty Gomez and Brian Rafalski but I do believe Lou does have a plan of attack for the offseason. When you think about it Gomez is not worth the 51.5 million dollars he is getting paid. While Rangers fans are looking forward to next season; I am waiting for Gomez to turn out like Bobby Holik when the Rangers signed him. Also, if you think about it Lou is setting the team up for the future. Lou is also learning from his mistakes not to sign old veteran players(Alexander Mogilny) by not offering Rafalaski more money than he is worth.
