It was announced that newly aquired defenceman Aaron Miller will undergo abdominal surgery today in Vancouver. Aaron Miller spent last season with The Las Angeles Kings where he amassed 8 points and was a -14 on a team without a goalie.
Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice President and General Manager gave a brief summary of the events. “After further consultation with our medical team it was decided that surgery was the best course of action for Aaron,” said Dave Nonis. “It is expected that Aaron will make a full recovery in two weeks and will re-join his teammates on the ice during our pre-season schedule.”
We are all very hopeful that Aaron will be ready for the pre-season, but thankfully we have Alexander Edler that can step up and fill the position.
