Anyone else feel like the ship is not only on fire but the powder keg blew out the insides?

Ever since the signing of Claude Lemuix it seems that something is not right. Was this the wong chemistry to add in? There have been some injuries and I am not sure are fully healed yet with some of the key people like Boyle.

With the play since the all star break my hopes and dreams have tamed down to at least makeing it past the 2nd round.

I can't put the blame on any single aspect of there game, anyone see something specific that is just wrong?

Wouldn't worry too much - yet. But judging from my hockey pools, the SJ youngsters are starting to cool off, such as Setoguchi and Clowe. Without that secondary scoring, I'm sure it's harder to win. Or it might just be a minor slump, which pretty every team goes through. And if you're gonna do through a slump, now is a darn good time to do it. As long as things get back on track before the playoffs!

I don't think I would run for the lifesavers just yet. I am not sure Claude is the fault, although I would probably declare the experiment over. With all the injuries and lack of energy plus the league starting to figure us out has not helped. Lets hope that Tuesday's game will bring us back on track through the end of the season so this slump doesn't carry over tothe post season.

9 players injured last game really hurts them. But the Mercury News made a point of saying Detroit only won 1 game last February and went on to win the cup, not really alluding to the Sharks winning it all but in the playoffs the regular season is out the window.
