nothing to do but just keep playing the guys you've attached your hopes to and wait for them to gel and play better... perhaps if they still blow at 20 games in, it would be time to give a hard look at what kind of coaching job Wilson is really pulling.

Tomas Kaberle is the most overrated athlete in all of sports today.
I dunno, he was pretty good until Cam Janssen broke his brain.
He is still really good, easy on the Kaberle bashing. I think quite honestly you demote a bunch of guys to the minors. Toskala, Mayers, etc. Bring up Bozak and Hanson and reunite that College line, they had energy and that's a lacking thing right now. Solidify the other lines and then ride it out...we'll see how MacDonald plays tonight!
I wasn't Kaberle bashing, just commenting that he looks like a shell of the dominant offensive defenseman he was before that hit... He's still serviceable and a strong offensive presence, but he doesn't have the impact he once did and he seems to play tentatively when the going gets tough.
