I've talked to some people in the Canucks Organization , and I had a brief talk with Former Canucks General Manager Pat Quinn. He was approached by Gilles Last week to take a Position as an Assistant Coach , 3rd slot.
Quinn has been interviewed by Senators General Manager Bryan Murray and Atlanta General Manager Don Waddel.
Apparently , he also spoke with Edmonton Oilers General Manager Kevin Lowe , but declined to interview for the Coaching Position because Mactavish still holds the position.
I received a call from John Ferguson Jr. , Who I have been trying to reach since November. Apparently, He is close to joining the Vancouver Canucks on a consultant role , and he's simply looking for things he can do.
