Sens vs Sabres Game 5

Well, I think most of us would be surprised to think that in this series a team has a 3-1 lead, let a lone the Ottawa Senators. I think its fair to say that most hockey analysts pegged ottawa as the underdogs, but their play in the playoffs, including the buffalo sabres, should have been otherwise. Ottawa was able to deal with Pittsburgh and New Jersey quite easily in 5 games each, with the top line being dominant through out the series. BUffalo on the other hand seemed to play sloppy against the islanders, and although winning the series in 5 games, did not look impressive at any moment. The rangers also played well against the sabres, and that series could have easily been lost. BUt that was the past, and now its the present. THe same could be said right now that Buffalo could be leading the series 3-1. The difference is the senators have been playing great, and the sabres marginal. THe sabres have the skill and talent that even a horrible performance can end in an overtime loss or a goal game, but the x factor for them has been Ryan Miller. Can Buffalo make a comeback and win game 5? Ottawa won the 2 games in BUffalo in impressive fashion, but perhaps the game 4 win might be a big enough spark to give the sabres some momentum. Its typical for the sens to completely collapse in the playoffs, but this team has been different from the past. Buffalo definiltly wants to win this series and cup as this is most likely the last time this core will be together. So, who is going to win Game 5? What are your predictions?
Mine is a Senators 3-2 win

no matter what happens, i predict this series goes to 6 games...we've seen ottawa's best; we have NOT seen buffalo's....and we may not.....but if they can rally around the recent play of miller, i think they can make this series VERY interesting

Another Sabres fan heard from: it ain't over yet. Sabres in 7. I still have faith, because this team has the potential to do it.

If Ottawa plays their best and Buffalo plays their best, Ottawa will still win. I think Sens will win Game 5, as much as the Buffalo team looked like they were back in in last night, they don't have the finish. If they were really driven to win, Lindy wouldn't have to shorten the bench so much in the 3rd. Buffalo has been playing like a great team all season, but fortunately/unfortunately the Senators, who assembled a great team throughout the season, have now blossomed into the even greater team that they can be and will most likely be hoisting and parading at the end of all this.

I love that the Sens playing at their best and the Sabres not is somehow a positive for the Buff.

I think if the Sabres can continue to accelerate their game again they have a shot. The Sabres were improved last game, but were still a shadow of what they're capable of. If they can continue to improve they're game, and I'm convinced that they need to play much better than in game 5, they have a shot to take it to 6 and 7. Once you get it to that point, anything is possible.
