It's a frustrating time to be a Preds fan.
Hubby's work gave him free tickets to the game against the Capitals Tuesday night. Sigh. I don't think I've ever heard Preds fans boo their own team that much. The first period was really bad. They played better in the 2nd and 3rd periods, but it just wasn't enough.

Martin Erat earned his first NHL hat trick on Tuesday against the Edmonton Oilers. However, since game was on the Oilers' home turf, Marty didn't get showered with hats.

Starting today, half of the proceeds from ticket sales for the Feb. 7th Preds game will be donated to tornado relief efforts in Tennessee.
The Preds organization will donate half of the revenue from remaining ticket sales to the Red Cross to assist in relief efforts following the storms that hit Tennessee on February 5. Red Cross volunteers also will be at the game accepting donations.
