Trade Winds Are Blowing

With just under two hours to the 3 pm ET trade deadline, there hasn't been much action around the NHL. A couple of playoff contenders are still looking to add some strength to their roster and prepare for a long playoff push come April. The Edmonton Oilers are expected to be busy today, potentially moving two key forwards off their roster -- Ales Hemsky and Dustin Penner -- to a playoff contender....

The biggest name at this year's deadline is Dallas Stars center, Brad Richards. According to TSN's Darren Dreger, Richards will only be willing to move his no-trade-clause if GM Joe Nieuwendyk can work out a deal with the New York Rangers.
