Seven losses in a row, folks. That's how many consecutive games the Islanders have surrendered to their opponents in a stretch where they have only scored nine goals. Secondary scoring has always been an issue with this team, but when the top guys of Tavares, Okposo and Moulson aren't getting the job done, and Josh Bailey is on the Injured Reserve, this team will really struggle to find the back o... Are The Isles Pursuing Kovalchuk?

Posted February 3, 2010
Every Islander fan has seen that Garth Snow is capable of making a shake-up when the time is right. Last year he moved from the bottom of the first round all the way up to the 12th overall pick to select defenseman, Calvin de Haan. The year before that he moved down from the 5th overall pick to the 9th to take Josh Bailey. And in his first year as General Manager, Garth Snow made his most memorabl... Read More »

A Roster Merry-Go-Round

Best Hockey Memories

Being at Game 6 of the playoffs when the Islanders face the Leafs, and getting to see Eric Cairns pummel Shayne Corson at center ice and watching him leave with his finger in the air, and share a pound with Shawn Bates.Being at Coliseum to see the Isles come from behind to defeat the Penguins on Al Arbour night, and watch the new banner raise to the rafters. Definately something I won't ever forget.
