After many a Season playing for our Northwest Rivals the Canucks, and after Playing Last Season with the Capitals, Skilled Sniper Brendan Morrison Threw his hat into the Canucks Ring Again in a Tryout Attempt that should have been successful....
...or not. Following a Terrible Pre Season Run for the Canucks, Morrison was Released from tryouts by the Team, leaving Brendan Scratching his head.
Now, Though he has no answers to Why They released him, He Feels Good about it happening, Because He, like Calgary's other Skilled Players, Is now a Fl;aming C Wearing Member of The Calgary Flames
He will bring much needed 2nd, 3rd or 4th line Secondary Scoring, assists, hits, plays and Will boost a Team that has already proven that last Season was an abnormality, and will not be repeated.
Thursday October 7th the Puck Drops on the 2010-11 Season, in Edmonton, And I can not wait to see Brendan Join our Flames in Schooling the Oilers, and then The kings for the Home opener on how Real Hockey is played by a Team that can Play and Win as a Team.
Calgary has no overly publicized Rookie Line..Like The Team to the north on a 5 year rebuild...What the Flames have is Experience, Grit, Determination, Skill, and we have prospects who Earned their spots over more than 1 season..and aren't being thrown in untested like Edmonton's Hall, Eberle or Paajarvi...
Welcome to Calgary Brendan...and Cheers to 4 lines of Skilled players...
