I have nothing note-worthy to say, other than I am very excited to watch Habs-Bruins tonight. I was vacationing in Florida the past three weeks, time shares didn't have NHL Network or CBC! No surprise though, I was reading through the morning papers each day to keep up with my hockey pool with my friends, and went through about eight total pages of Baseball and Football, before I reached the half page dedicated to hockey. It didn't even show the score!!! But, I was happily surprised to see the amount of Tampa Bay Lightning merchandise! Seen Stamkos? No, but I did meet LeBron James at a McDonald's in Miami! He is so tall, and hungry. Dude had 2 big breakfast meals (6 pancakes, 4 eggs, 2 hashbrowns and 3 sausages) and an extra large orange juice. Okay, I lied when I said I had nothing note-worthy to say, but hey, lets get down to some Habs!
1) Was it disrespectful of Gauthier to fire Perry Pearn 1.5 hours before a game?
2) With news that Andrei Markov is 1-2 weeks from returning to practise, when will he return and how many games will he play this season?
3) Will Markov be as good as he was before his injury or worse?
4) Now that the Habs are on a 2 game win streak, how far will it stretch out?
5) Who will have the best Movember moustache? Carey Price or Erik Cole?
6) Do you think the Habs will make a trade for: A) Top forward B) Puck moving D-Man or C) An enforcer? Or, none of the above?
7) Max Pacioretty; is he for real or just on a hot streak? How many points can you expect?
8) Sophmore slump for P.K Subban?
9) Which current prospect drafted from 2007 to this past draft is most NHL ready? Who is the future captain among these prospects?
10) Who will be fired first? Pierre Gauthier or Jacques Martin?
Okay that does it for this segment of 10 questions. I'm your host habsteen26, signing out.
1. No, he did what was needed to be done.2. Late November.3. A tad rusty but he'll find his game soon enough.4. Hopefully untill they're at .500.5. Pricey.6. B).7. Real. I'm guessing with a full season maybe 50 points. 25 goals.8. Nope, he started out pretty slow last year from what I remember.9. Brendan Gallagher. Had a very good preseason. I'd have to say Nathan Beaulieu I think would make the best captain of the recently drafted prospects.10. Neither. But if i had to choose, I'd say Martin.
1. yes! cowardly move. 2. Mid november, he will play 60 games 3. He will bounce back after a few games. He will be good. 4. They will lose their next game. 5. Cole 6. top forward they dont need a D when Markovs back. 7. Hot streak. He will slow down. 40 points is his ceiling. 8. Yes. 9. Beaulieu 10. Gauthier then Martin, but both are gone at seasons end.
