With a weekend of travel behind me, it’s time to take a look at the weekend and give a re-cap. Obviously there were two big games this weekend and thankfully the Bolts managed to pull out a win on Sunday. The Lightning are still “in” the playoff race but things are certainly getting a little more tense. Steve Yzerman has stated that he doesn’t believe he’ll be very active prior to the deadline simply because the Bolts roster is currently pretty bare. All he wants is to see this team play some inspired hockey down the stretch. Playoffs or not, guys are playing for jobs right now; that should breed some exciting games. After posting this blog, I’ll be launching the live trade deadline blog as we are under 24 hours away from the freeze. Anyways, let’s get to the weekend review.
