Welcome to my very first blog. I know that I am mostly writing to myself at this point in time but perhaps eventually 2 maybe even 3 people might stumble across one of my collections of ramblings.
I should start with a little bit about myself: I'm certainly not a writer by no stretch of the imagination. I have no professional background, I did the minimum English requirements in school and that is it. I am an Electronics Engineering Tech in real life but I also enjoy playing music as well and hopefully I will eventually come to really enjoy doing this (writing about my thoughts on hockey).
I am certainly not new to the Hockeybuzz community, I have followed Richard Cloutier for a long time now and I really respect his writing skills and his ability to keep me entertained with every blog her writes. Perhaps one day maybe he will come across one of mine and perhaps take a stab at reading it. lol Oh to dream.
As for my hockey interests, I am a huge Edmonton Oilers fan. My dad grew up in the dynasty years and passed on his love for the team to me. I have enjoyed watching them every year win or lose. Taylor Hall or Brian Swanson. Eric Brewer or Igor Ulanov. Curtis Joseph or Bob Essensa. Despite my past enjoyment I didn't think I was going to be excited about this upcoming season, but as of right now this is probably the most excited I've ever been! It doesn't seem to matter what has happened in the year previous or the lockout that just ended, seeing hockey just around the corner gives me goosebumps.
Here's hoping that when training camp kicks off at the start of next week I will perhaps have some thoughts on the Edmonton Oilers and maybe what I am expecting heading into the season.
Thanks for reading self. LOL
and everyone else.
