According to NHL.com, Brad Isbister is currently a member of the Vancouver Canucks, does anyone know of any articles confirming this deal? It seems like it may be a misprint because it's been on the website for a little while now and no official announcement has been made.
If, in fact, this is true then I think the Canucks have found themselves another Taylor Pyatt to play on the third or fourth line. Isbister spent most of last season with the Boston Bruins tallying up 23 points in 58 games and finished off the season with the New York Rangers with 5 points in 19 games. At 6'4, 225lbs, the Edmonton native has a power forward presence but has struggled with injuries for quite some time now, however, a healthy Isbister may be just what the Canucks need. Putting him on a line with Matt Cooke and Ryan Kesler doesn't sound too bad and everyone knows that the two things the Canucks miss most with Bertuzzi, Jovanovski, Ruutu, Brookbank and Baumgartner gone is size and toughness.
I'm not getting my hopes up because this may just be, like I said, a misprint on the NHL website. If this is a mistake by the website then the Canucks may want to look into signing Isbister anyways because I'm sure his price isn't too high and he could bring some of that old physical Canuck style which was lost when the Brian Burke era ended.
I was in confused state whether the news which you had posted in this article is true because up to my knowledge it is not true. I read a news article from essay writer uk blog that Brad is still in his old club only and going to play this summer season with that club only.
