Sidney Crosby must beat Derek Jeter. What do I mean by this? I mean that Sidney must get more votes then Derek Jeter in ESPN's Who's Now Competition and advance to the second round. But why should you and I care about this, and take time out of our day to participate in this competition? The answer is that this "competition" may not seem like much, but any time we can get hockey on the air and talked about on ESPN, especially in a postive way, is a good thing for the game. We know that hockey games aren't going to be on ESPN anytime soon, but this can be an eye-opener to the people at ESPN if we, the hockey community vote on Sid. So my plea, my request is for you reading this right now to go vote for Sidney Crosby in ESPN's Who's Now, and to spread the word to anyone and everyone.

i was thinking the same thing. it seems like hockey fans are more internet friendly than fans of most sports, so this could work
Tough match up for the only hockey player involved. Voting opens tomorrow or what?
