Who's This John Scott Guy?

Before this blog begins there is something I want to point out.
Firstly, I'm trying to figure out HOW I want to write blogs, seriously or jokingly and here I'm trying something new. Enjoy the blog and thank you for reading.
Standing at 6'8 280lb John Scott is one of the heftiest players in the NHL, and while he may seem useless due to stats I'm here to convince readers wrong. He may only have five goals and 10 points yet he would still be an asset to have, for example, he is still a young player; only 32. Scott still has great of time to improve his game and personally I can envision him playing second line minutes and maybe even first in Edmonton and I wish to address people about his upsides.
As previously declared Scott still has a bulk of time to improve and while he may be 32, he still has around 8 years left to play. Being in the game for such a long time, he would bring a plethora of leadership to the Edmonton Oilers and it's what the team lacks. Also vital to state is that Edmonton needs a captain and I believe that John Scott would be the superb fit due to the fact he has led his team (Chicago) to the playoffs. Not only that he played for the San Jose Sharks last and played in 38 games in which he scored three goals which is an average of a goal every 12 games. In contrast Andrew Ference scored the same amount of goals in 70 games and he captained the team last season. In which the conclusion every hockey fan should have is that Scott would be a great captain compared to Ference.
Secondly, what Johnny Hockey brings is the size and intimidation which Edmonton has been lacking since Mr. George "Hat trick" Laraque. In contrast to Laraque, Scott is the superior player being that he is bigger and he once even made Phil Kessel become a lumberjack. And personally I'm surprised no one photo shopped Kessel to wear what was hip back in the 90's (thanks Kurt). Either way though he caused one of the greatest goal scorers in the league skate away to which a little child would do, is an impressive feat and something Edmonton has to have. In fact John Scott brings a hell of a mass of potential, he can fight, he can hit and last year he proved he can score just as much as Ference.
Speaking of Ference, born in Edmonton and joined the Oilers as a result of his fandom when he were a youth. Likewise, John Scott, also born in Edmonton, enjoyed cheering for them as a child and even wore a jersey on picture day once. Furthermore, he also told me that he grew up in St. Catherine's, Ontario and stayed up to all hours of the night with his dad to watch Edmonton's 1990 cup run. To prove my point, I heard from Dangles that he still cheers for the Oilers although he plays for Arizona, whom Chiarelli should be picking up the phone and be calling right now. So to conclude it's not just my thought, but every fan around the league that Scott is a firm player with plenty of upside which consists of the leadership, grit and hometown presence.
Consequentially, Scott would cost Edmonton dearly due to his skill and if I were the general manager, I'd call Arizona and offer them the following: Nikita Nikitin and a prospect, namely Kale Kessy. As a result of this deal Arizona picks up defensive support in Nikitin and they can have Kessy back. This transaction would also provide Edmonton with cap relief and a solid player with an abundance of upside in Scott. With all of this in mind, Edmonton has to tackle their grit issue and John Scott would be a tremendous player to cure that issue. All in all, Chiarelli should manufacture this move since it will dramatically improve the Edmonton Oilers; thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed.
