Isles lose 5th straight

The New York Islanders are probably the worst team in the NHL. And because of this let's take a look at the Isles future. The NHL draft is the closest event that we can look forward too, as the Islanders have literally no hope at the playoffs anymore. The Islanders might not have the first overall pick, that has Nolan Patrick going first overall or perhaps Timothy Liljegren for a team like Arizona who needs defense. Most definitely, the Isles have the opportunity to draft Gabriel Vilardi or Maxime Comtois, if they continue to struggle.

A bright spot for the Isles is rookie Anthony Beauvillier scored his 3rd goal of the season Sunday versus the Senators, but coach Capuano keeps scratching Beauvillier almost every other game. But now that Cizikas is hurt, Beauvillier has a legitimate shot to show the coaching staff he can play.
