ummmmm.....where's Vegas?
Of course now the Sens get Karlsson for the cost of a rental which throws my West picks/bracket totally out of whack, LOL
BiggE- Sharks now the favorite in West?
what a pathetic prediction
Leafs fans are cute. You might win the Cup, you could go out in the first round. It's not like your team is loaded with guys with tons of winning playoff experience. I do think your forward group is excellent and you have a very good goalie, but Leaf fans, at least honest ones, have to admit that their D has some serious question marks. Losing to Boston in 7 games in the first round is far from an insult, and any time I'm picking someone to lose in 7, it's not like I'm going to be shocked if that team ends up winning. Calm down.
In response to cdearth23: They are certainly now the favorite to come out of the Pacific Division, but I'd still rate them just a bit behind Nashville and Winnipeg to start the season. This could certainly change as the season goes on.
Very unlikely point totals. The least amount of points given out in a season is 2460 the most is 3690. You are predicting 2927 (2838 Last Year) which means there will have to be 536 3 point games. Last year there were only 296.
Also last season there were 9 teams under 80 Points, Now you think there will only be 3. I understand these are just your predictions, But these are highly unlikely.
Sorry 467 3 point games
The point totals were just wild guesses, it's the order of finish that I was mainly predicting. However, once I factor in the Karlsson trade, I'd move San Jose up to first in the Pacific and drop Ottawa to last in the Atlantic. This of course, changes how I see the playoffs going in the West. I'd still have San Jose, Nashville, Winnipeg and Vegas winning in the first round but the matchups would be different. However, I'd now have Nashville over San Jose in the conference final with the SCF still being the same.
not half bad.
Philly finished 3rd to last. Wins lottery. Passes on Hughes
