I really want to hear my fellow bloggers on the Kings latest hire.
I think is a good step for the Kings in bolstering their coaching staff. As a head coach we all know Dave Lewis struggled with the "B's". I think he brings knowledge aquired under Scottie Bowman and his past playing experience.
Let me know and fellow Kings fans what the other teams fans feel on the recent hiring.

some coaches don't seem to make head coaches but make a great assistant coach Lewis I think fits that bill
He is a great assistant coach. Not sure he really had the chance with the play of the burins last year but I guess it needs to be blamed on somebody. In Detroit he was the guy the players could relate to when Bowman was coming down on everybody.
Lewis is a fantastic assistant. As a head coach he's had issues, but really probably hasn't gotten a fair shake. But as Crawford's right hand man, Lewis is an excellent hire.
