Habs Make Cuts, Price Stays

Players sent to Hamilton include Maxim Lapierre, Ryan O'Byrne and Jaroslav Halak.
All I can say is that I am in complete shock not only because Price is staying but mostly because Maxim Lapierre is getting sent down. I mean his training camp was pretty good and last year he played very well. I would have prefered sending down Garth Murray but love the decision to keep Grabovski. During the preseason he along with Kostisyn and Kovy looked outstanding and his play against Ottawa on saturday was probably the key factor of the decision to keep him.
But this means we have to make a trade right now because Halak's value in Hamilton will only decrease.
Note: TSN also said Grabovski is pencilled in as the #2 Center
