Mats Sundin is off to one of the best starts of his career yet he sits 13th on the all star list. He is in the top five in scoring. I mean do people not realize the stats or what? Maxim Afinogenov is ahead of him! Players that he easily tops are ahead of him. I was expecting him to possibly crack the top three as where many others.
What do you guys think about this?
Well he should be ahead of Afinogenov that's for sure. But a lot of people just vote for their favorite players, not the players that are playing the best this year. So why is Sundin 13th? because Leafs fans aren't voting enough.
I agree leafs fans start voting!!! lol. How could he be hardly ahead oh blake.that whats kind of unfair, it should be by the best players not playing favorites.
If it makes you feel any better (which I doubt), I voted for him (once), to see him and Alfie re-unite at the All-Star Game. That was the second reason I voted for him, the first is because he deserves to be there.
Big deal. Sens get snubbed every year at the All-star game. Only Heatley went last year. No Spezza. No Alfredsson. No Redden. No one. And its always like this. I doubt our big three get to go this year either. Mabye one or two but no the whole trio. Gerber should go this year but he probobly won't even come close.
every team has to have a representative so a great team like Ottawa can't have 5 or 6 guys on the All-Star team... and if memory serves correctly Wade Redden kinda sucked last year, making him about as deserving of an all-star berth as Bryan McCabe would be this year...
