I have been told that Richards in all likelihood will return to the line-up Saturday afternoon in Boston for the Flyers...
Richards has said he is 90% sure he will play but what I'm being told is more like 99+%
Not sure about line combinations but I would think it probable that he rejoins Scott Hartnell and Joffrey Lupul as he has worked well with both of those guys in the past.
So I would figure the line combinations would be something like
Prospal - Briere - Umberger
Hartnell - Richards - Lupul
Upshall - Carter - Knuble
Downie - Dowd - (Kapanen or Cote depending on Kapi's flu status)
Jones is out for the weekend... Does this mean Kukkonen gets in the lineup?

Will Richie be healthy enought to play point on the PP?
They need to get Kukkonen in the lineup! Give him more ice time and he is effective. He's one of the best shot blockers in the league. I don't know what John Stevens is thinking. Kukkonen isn't as big and strong as Modry but he isn't a defensive liability like him (Modry).Hopefully Richards is not coming back too soon. Lupul may have came back a tad early as he looked extremely rusty in the last game. Richards is needed big time and we will see if he can get back to where he was before the injury.Flyers need to turn things around and get some points fast! At least Buffalo is losing games as well but Washington and Toronto are playing well.
Prospal - Briere - HartnellUmberger- Richards - LupulI like those lines better, the URL line worked good when they were all healthy. Those are 3 amazing lines to have, and Stevens better figure something out to get some passion back in the game. And for the love of God put Kukkonen in. That is a recurring theme all over the Flyers forums, but Stevens must have some grudge against him.As for Richards, as long as he is able to not re-injure himself, I'm fine with him coming back even if hes a little rusty. Just to get a few games under his belt before the playoffs.
The problems with KUkkonen are-first, he's a modest improvement, at best, over guys like Modry. Second, while he is capable of having good games, he does get pushed around very easily. As for Richards coming back too soon? I couldn't care less. The Toronto games show it's not a moment too soon. The worst that could happen is he gets re-injured and misses the last 8 games or whatever-hamstring injuries don't tend to become chronic problems
