Pre-game roster notes etc

Biron back between the pipes.... Goalie controversy settled? I'd say yes for the most part....

Jones will NOT return tonight as had been hoped... Same 6 defensemen as we have seen. No word yet on any changes up front but I wouldn't think so....

As for the Rangers, Scott Gomez won't be in action as his ribs etc are still bothering him from his crash into the boards Friday night in Philly...Big loss for the Blueshirts as Gomer's 7 points vs Philly this season is the top total for NY in the season series...
Petr Prucha will take his spot in the line-up as Prucha returns to action since missing time with a shoulder injury himself.
Renney will give Lundqvist the start and hope the weekend off will be enough to get him to play Valiquette-like against the Flyers

The Rangers haven't played since Friday night so even more so than usual tonight the start of the game will be crucial...
New York has become a tremendous 5-man defensive unit under Renney and so tonight will be a true test of the Flyers' ability to work the cycle down low and hammer home some goals...
Don't expect the pretty bang-bang passes to get through tonight for slam dunk goals

The Flyers PP has been their strongpoint all season and especially lately, but the Rangers have killed off 35 of their last 39 penalties on MSG ice.... They are 8-2-1 in their last 11 at home
Meanwhile, the Flyers are looking to snap a 4 game road losing streak... which began right here in the Big Apple in the shootout loss back on March 2nd....
