Season to look forward to !

With the upcoming 2008/2009 NHL season upon us, there is a certain buzz in the air. Where better to enjoy this buzz then at this fine site? My hats off to Eklund for setting this forum up where we the real fans can share our information about our beloved team.
I will have many stories and updates for Leaf fans from these very pages. All I can say is, based on my talks with players this summer, Leaf fans will be VERY surprised and pleased with the team this season. Fletcher has made some solid moves to be sure, and the team has an excitement around them that hasn't been seen in many years.
Stay tuned Leaf fans, the future will unfold very quickly. I look forward to sharing my many years of hockey analysis and inside knowledge with you all.

You're pretty optimistic, but I hope you're right. I don't many wins, but I do hope they don't roll over as easily as they did last year - that was hard to watch. I look forward to the Leafs being a tougher team to play against, thats for sure.
even if they lose alot this year, i think it'll be way more bearable for them to compile a record that only nets 12th or 13th due to the fact that all those losses probably won't be because of blown leads in the 3rd. god i'm sick of that. if there gonna lose, they may as well make it tough on the other team.
